We are one of Sweden's largest suppliers of home cleaning in Stockholm and we exist so that you can come home to a spotlessly clean home and have time for yourself, your family or anything else!
Feel free to book a test cleaning of your home or a free home visit where you can meet one of our supervisors before we start your home cleaning. Even you who are an existing customer can of course book a home visit e.g. if you want to change cleaning routines.
Home cleaning is customised according to your wishes, but usually includes vacuuming, mopping floors, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, and dusting open spaces. Most customers choose regular cleaning of their home with the same cleaner coming for example weekly or fortnightly.

How home cleaning works in Stockholm with Rent08
What is included in home cleaning?
We tailor the home cleaning to your preferences to give you a sparkling clean home. Here's what's usually included:
Kitchen
- Cleaning of tiles, tap, sink, work surfaces, hob and microwave.
- Cleaning of kitchen doors and external extractor fan.
- Wiping the outside of rubbish bins and white goods.
- Dusting of lamps, window sills, skirting boards and plugs.
- Wiping of doors and wet wiping of floors.
Bathroom
- Cleaning of tiles, sinks, bath, shower, toilet and bathroom cabinets.
- Wiping doors, mirrors and dusting window sills, skirting boards and plugs.
- Vacuuming and wet wiping of floors.
- Emptying of rubbish bins.
All rooms
- Dusting paintings, window sills, skirting boards, lamps and plugs.
- Wiping and cleaning of furniture and free surfaces (up to 1.8 m).
- Cleaning of TVs, games consoles and sound systems.
- Vacuuming of upholstered furniture, floors and carpets.
- Wet wiping of floors and wiping of mirrors (max 1×1 m).
- Emptying of rubbish bins.
Flexibility and continuity

How to make your first visit
To ensure that you receive a cleaning service that is fully customised to your needs, we offer a free home visit. During this visit, you will meet with one of our supervisors who will go over your requirements, show you what we can offer and answer all your questions. This is a perfect opportunity for you to get an idea of our services before we start the cleaning job.
What happens during the home visit?
- We will go through your home together and discuss what needs to be cleaned and how often.
- You can express your specific wishes and any special needs.
- We explain our working method and how we ensure high quality.
Try us out with a trial cleaning
If you want to feel completely confident before you decide, we also offer the possibility of a trial cleaning. This is a one-off cleaning that is not binding. You will have the opportunity to evaluate our work and see if our services meet your expectations.

How many hours are needed for house cleaning in Stockholm?
The time needed for home cleaning varies depending on the size of your home and how much needs to be done. As a general guideline, cleaning a home of up to 75 square metres usually takes 2-3 hours. For larger homes, the time needed can vary between 3-7 hours, depending on the number of square metres and your specific requirements.

Keep this in mind when hiring cleaning services
In order for us to give you the best results and work as efficiently as possible, there are a few things to consider before we come to your home:
1. preparing for smoother cleaning
- Pick up loose objects: Remove toys, clothes, dishes and other loose items from floors and surfaces to be cleaned. This allows us to focus on cleaning instead of moving things.
- Review cleaning materials: We recommend that you have a vacuum cleaner and cleaning tools in good condition. During the home visit, you will be given a list of the cleaning products and tools you need. If you are unable to organise this, please let us know and we will find a solution.
2. At the first cleaning session
- Attend if possible: We appreciate it if you can be at home the first time we clean. Then we can check that everything is as you wish and adapt our routines to your needs.
- Mark fragile objects: Please show our staff any sensitive or fragile objects, furniture, or floors. This way we can ensure that we handle everything with care.
3. additional allowances and services
- Window cleaning and other extras: If you require additional services, such as window cleaning, please let us know in advance.
4. Key management and security
- Are you at home or not? If you're at home, you don't need to worry about key management. If you're not at home, you can rest assured that we have a secure system where only your cleaning lady and our CEO know who the key belongs to.
5. peace of mind with insurance
Our insurance covers any damage that may occur in your home during cleaning. The insurance has a coverage of up to SEK 10 million.

Our binding terms for home cleaning
We want to be a flexible cleaning company, so we have chosen not to tie up our customers with long and complicated contracts. We have a one-month continuous cancellation period.
How the RUT deduction works for home cleaning
In the case of home cleaning, the deduction is made directly on the invoice and means that you as a customer only pay half the amount for our services.
You can receive a maximum tax reduction of SEK 75 000 per year and person. This means that you can buy RUT and ROT services for SEK 150,000 and only pay SEK 75,000. You are responsible for keeping track of how much of the maximum tax deduction you have utilised. If you have overutilised the maximum amount of the deduction, you are obliged to pay the remaining amount to us.

Rent08 AB är ett familjeföretag inom hemstädning och erbjuder mycket konkurrenskraftiga priser. T ex. kostar 8 timmars städning måndag-onsdag endast 215:- per timme efter RUT-avdrag. De 8 timmarna kan delas mellan två grannar som bor på kort avstånd mellan varandra. Vårt mål är att erbjuda prisvärd hemstädning som alla har råd med.
Why we have better prices than many others
We can offer some of the lowest prices on the market, partly because our staff only use public transport, which means that you as a customer do not have to pay for expensive cars, i.e. more environmentally friendly cleaning services.
We offer neighbourhood cleaning that allows our staff to stay in the same area throughout the working day, which allows us to offer affordable cleaning. This, as well as having a lean and highly efficient organisation, allows Rent08 AB to meet its goal - to offer cheap cleaning services with the highest possible quality.

Pay less with RUT deductions
With the RUT deduction, you as a customer only pay half of the invoiced amount. The remaining amount is paid to us as a supplier by the Swedish Tax Agency. The maximum amount for the RUT deduction is SEK 75,000 per year, which means that you can buy cleaning for SEK 150,000 and only pay SEK 75,000.
